The state of PA has just enacted a law that takes effect on March 8, 2012 that bans texting while driving. The state law specifically usurped the Philadelphia law which prohibited using handheld devices while driving. This means we are now all free to talk, Google, use GPS or anything else that a smart phone can do while driving EXCEPT text. How on earth are the Philly police ever going to enforce this new law? I guess it’s back to driving with one hand while showing homes.
UPDATE: Deep Pockets can’t wait to play Angry Birds 3 while driving on I95 in March.
