Philadelphia Giving Away Free Trees Philly.com reports that the City of Philadelphia is offering 4,000 free trees to city residents in Center City neighborhoods. The City of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Department is beginning the “TreePhilly” yard-tree giveaway as part of the Greenworks Philadelphia goal of adding 300,000 trees to Philadelphia’s inventory.
