Contestants from “The Voice” have gone on to produce chart-topping music: country singer Danielle Bradbery won season 4 and had her self-titled debut album hit number five in 2013. Her lead single, “The Heart of Dixie,” charted in the Top 15. Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope, former singer of the pop-punk band Hey Monday, topped the country charts with her album “Frame by Frame” and her Top 5 single “Wasting All These Tears” went platinum in 2013 as well. Quarterfinalist Raelynn from Season 2 just released her debut album “Wild Horse” to great acclaim, and her single “Love Triangle” is burning up the country charts.

Winners of “The Voice” get a cash prize of $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Music Group.

This year, the celebrity judging panel will include “The Voice” OGs Blake Shelton and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. Joining them will be Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani. Viewers of the show love the judges as much as the contestants, tuning in for the “bromance” and banter between Levine and Shelton and for the real-life romance between Shelton and Stefani.

According to The Morning Call, “The show has ranked in the Top 10 for all TV programs for four of its seasons, and in the Top 20 for all of them. It has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program in three of the past four years, including in 2016.”
