Today's Election Day and it's time to vote! Do you have your sticker yet?

By this time tomorrow – barring any Electoral College craziness a la Bush v. Gore in 2000 – the dust will have settled and America will have voted for a new president. Today is the big day, and nothing else matters… not the pollsters nonstop TV chatter, not the celebrity endorsements, not the brouhaha over e-mail leaks and lewd comments. Now is the time for all adult Americans to turn out and vote for their choice of this country’s next leader. Pennsylvania is considered a serious prize in this election, with 20 electoral votes, so believe me when I tell you that your vote matters.

Today’s Election Day and it’s time to vote! Do you have your sticker yet?

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is obviously aware that Pennsylvania – and, specifically, Philadelphia – matters. Yesterday she made one final appearance in the City of Brotherly Love, a place where she has stumped repeatedly over the last few months, and the place where she accepted her party’s nomination at the Democratic National Committee. Clinton was joined by her husband, former president Bill Clinton, as well as current president Barack Obama, in an event that could only be called historic – where else could one get the chance to see two presidents and one very possible one all in one place?

The line to see the star-studded trio snaked two miles down the South Philly sidewalks, said CBS Philly. Thousands waited happily in the line, chatting with one another as they slowly moved towards the event. Even those without tickets who had no chance of getting in couldn’t help but be excited on this most exciting of days, the eve of Election Day. Polls show Pennsylvania swinging blue by a slim margin, a margin that Hillary and presidents Clinton and Obama are undoubtedly looking to widen. Only time will tell.

Now is the time to get out and vote! SEPTA nixed the strike, so you don’t have any excuse not to go. Whether you are pro-Clinton or pro-Trump, let your voice be heard.
