Even more, if you have a politically engaged teen fired up about this year’s presidential race then you’ll definitely want to explore the fascinating Headed to the White House exhibit. The only of its kind in the nation, this new interactive exhibit is intended to help adult and children alike better understand the election process overtaking our nation this year.

Philadelphia Museums

Currently running, the exhibit covers every aspect of a presidential election. This includes everything from a bit about election history to what it’s like to hit the campaign trail. This is a truly neat addition to the Philadelphia museums. The exhibit goes out of its way to creative interactive crafts and activities that make the entire experience hit home a bit more. In fact, as you progress through the exhibit you become your own candidate on the election trail. And if you bring your kids along, count on them walking away from the National Constitution Center with a custom designed campaign button, a firm presidential handshake, and a much deeper understanding of the entire election process unfolding over the next eleven months.

We’re fans of the Center any time, but if you’ve not yet visited, it’s time to pack the kids in the car and head over there. This is a truly unique exhibit and we guarantee every person will walk away with new information and a new perspective on the campaigning process.

As Philly residents, we really do get the best of innovation, culture, and history — this new exhibit is no exception. From the campaign trail to taking seat in the Oval Office, you and your family can make an afternoon of learning about all about the U.S. presidential election.
