It’s back, Philadelphia! The Philadelphia Auto Show kicks off tomorrow at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, bringing the newest and coolest in vehicles to the City of Brotherly Love. It’s set to last for eight days: tomorrow through next Sunday, February 7th. For those who eat, breathe, and sleep cars, it is set to be a truly blissful experience.

Dave Kelleher, Chairman of the Philadelphia Auto Show, told 6abc that this year was going to feature the best show that anyone has ever seen! There will be more than 700 vehicles at the event and it’s expected that 250,000 auto lovers will show up to visit. Kevin Mazzucola, Executive Director of ADAGP, points out that this is the Auto Show’s 115th year and that it inevitably brings “smiles on the faces of the Philadelphians.”

Not only will there be plenty of cars to ogle at the Auto Show, but there will be plenty to do as well. The ever-popular rock climbing wall will return this year, along with the Jeep ride-and-drive. New this year is the Dodge Viper simulator, which lets you virtually experience what it’s like to be behind the wheel of this hotrod. “This is a full-sized Viper that you get behind the wheel of and you look at the screen and you get a chance to drive it and it reacts to your turns. It’s gonna shift, it’s gonna shake, it’s gonna give you that experience of really driving that car down the track,” details Mike Gempp, Director of the Philadelphia Auto Show. There will also be a soccer clinic run by New Jersey native and FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year Carli Lloyd.

And, as mentioned earlier on the blog, the showroom floor will also feature one of the Fiats in which the Pope was driven around during his visit to Philadelphia.
