Philadelphia police warned against "Sith behavior."

1.) The Philadelphia police have a sense of humor, especially when it comes to the latest Star Wars movie. Over the weekend, the department posted a photo of two stormtroopers getting arrested on South Street with the message: “No, posting #StarWarsForceAwakens spoilers online is not a crime. Yes, it should be.” They also mentioned that any “illegal Sith behavior” would be swiftly dealt with. A similar message on Twitter had been retweeted 11,000 times at the time of writing this.

2.) Adele will be bringing her unbelievable talent to Philadelphia for two nights in September. The British singer is launching her “25” tour, and it will be stopping at the Wells Fargo Arena Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10. The tour, which is officially called Adele Live 2016, was announced the same day that NBC aired Adele’s concert special Adele Live in New York. Tickets for the shows start at $39.50. Adele’s newest album, “25,” has sold millions of copies and has spawned a viral hit, “Hello.”

3.) Philadelphia hospitals spent $6 million in preparation for the pope’s visit, even though volume was down for that weekend in September. Not only did hospitals bring in additional staff, but they also brought in air mattresses, sheets, and food to take care of staff who were forced to sleep over at the hospital due to traffic. The Delaware Valley Healthcare Council included eight healthcare systems and nine hospitals in its survey. According to an article on BizJournals.com: “The Inquirer asked some of the hospitals and health systems most affected by the visit how much they spent. The totals they reported included $1 million at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, $200,000 at Hahnemann University Hospital, $1.5 million at Main Line Health, $500,000 at Jefferson, and $1.5 million at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Temple University Hospital included lost patient revenue in the $520,000 it said the visit cost.”
