Stargazing With Realtor.com’s 10 Hottest Celeb Homes of 2014

It’s December, which can mean only one thing – it’s time for a veritable avalanche of year-end lists and roundups. One of the first on the scene (and perhaps the only one relevant to this blog!) is Realtor.com’s list of “The 10 Most Stunning Celebrity Homes of 2014.” Packed with droolworthy pics of lavish nests, this tribute to the year’s headlines in celeb real estate is a fun read even if you aren’t someone who geeks out over news of buying and selling – guilty here as charged!

If you follow this blog, some of the listings will look familiar. Teresa Giudice’s borderline-gaudy New Jersey manse made the list, as did John Legend and Chrissy Teigan’s mellow-chic midcentury in California.

Working that almost-but-not-quite tacky chic… it’s Casa Giudice in all its glory.

Have a look at a sampling of some of the other star-studded listings that made the roundup!

*Kim Kardashian and Kanye’s West’s $20 million French chateau in Hidden Hills. With 16,000 square feet, I hope they have plenty of baby gates for little North West – a toddler could easily get lost in so much room!

*Pharell Williams’ Miami Beach “fishbowl,” so named for the floor-to-ceiling walls of windows running along the outside. Listed in February, the home was pulled from the market in November when a buyer didn’t materialize. But hey, he still has a really cool mural of The Smurfs in the dining room. Counts for something, right?

*Ron Howard’s elegant East Coast estate, which is located right on the border between New York and Connecticut. With 17,000 square feet, he’s got plenty of room for entertaining. Can you imagine playing hide and seek with that many rooms?
