The 1960s details of Casa Legend are simultaneously timeless and ridiculously hip.

A masterpiece of ’60s mid-century modern architecture, the home exudes both class and cool in equal quantities. It has three bedrooms, one of which Legend has had outfitted as a studio. (In fact, he recorded tracks from his most recent album there!) It’s wide-open floor plan screams “on-trend and awesome,” with a vast great room encompassing living/dining/kitchen space and leading out to a swanky deck. Both, say the pair, are perfect for entertaining. Soaring ceilings with exposed beams, funky and massive geometric windows and loads of natural light hit just the right combo of classic and hip, and make for a breathtaking domain. The master suite overlooks the gardens, which include a freestanding outdoor bathtub and an Asian-inspired pond. The home sits on a quarter acre of land, and sports about 2,000 square feet of living space.

The couple’s love affair with the home has been well-documented. Its sexy architectural details were featured in both Architectual Digest and The Wall Street Journal, and the pair gushed over how they felt the home was absolutely perfect for them. As Legend said, it’s “subtle and beautiful, but packs a modern punch.”

Like many young marrieds, the Legends say that they are simply in search of something bigger. Ideally, they say, they’d like something very much like their current nest… just twice as large.

The home is listed for $1.995 million.

Here’s to Legend and Teigan making beautiful music together in their new home, and here’s to whomever snaps up this insanely stylish pad!
