Die Hard star and sexy bald dude Bruce Willis is on a real estate roll as of late. The ink just dried on the actor’s latest purchase, a gorgeous getaway in Bedford, New York. The home is altogether enviable, with shingled siding and a vast parcel of land overlooking the Croton Reservoir. It has 5 bedrooms and 6 baths, a wine cellar with climate control, a swimming pool with a heated cabana, and eight acres of land surrounding it. The price tag? $12 mil.
The Bedford home was actually Willis’ second buy this year. Back in February he staked out his own piece of heaven in New York City’s Central Park West nabe, scooping up a 3-bed/4-bath apartment in the prewar El Dorado building that’s home to several other celebs. Called an “Art Deco gem,” the apartment was formerly two separate units that were combined into one by former owner Adam Clayton of the band U2. Three of the apartment’s rooms – including the master suite – face Central Park, and the unit touts terrazzo floors, slate countertops, custom cabinetry, and gourmet-level appliances. Willis also dropped a pretty penny on this one: he paid $8.695 million.
But that’s not all. Willis is currently trying to unload his splendid nest in Hailey, Idaho, in the heart of the Sun Valley region. It’s been on the market since 2011, first with a price tag of $15 million. That has since plunged down to $8.8 million – total discount! Willis used to own a bar and ski resort in the area, but after selling those, it’s said that he doesn’t spend much time in the area anymore. That must be why he’s trying to ditch the stunning 20-acre estate and 6-bedroom, 7-bath home.
Willis also owns two homes in Beverly Hills, as befits a star of his caliber. Who knew the guy was pretty much a real estate kingpin?
