The CENTERfold: I Left My Heart In Washington Square

square

There’s nothing that swoons me quite like a gorgeous old house, unless it’s a gorgeous old loft home. Guess what I found?

exterior

This is 227-31 S. 6th St. #2SW, and I’m pretty sure it’s my new favorite CENTERfold home. I know I’ve said that before, but I’M SERIOUS THIS TIME, GUYS.
living

This 2 bed/3 bath home overlooks Washington Square and features an enormous 3,510 square feet of living space! It’s got an outsized price tag to match: $3,355,000. I think you’ll agree that it’s worth it, though!

I am crazy for exposed brick and beams, so that right there was already a point in this home’s favor. I’m trying hard not to go all meme-speak here and tag this #thosearchwaystho… but hey, it just happened. Check out the way that the corridor goes straight through, with all the rooms off of it – fantastic.
windows

The listing wasn’t kidding about those windows, either. Huge, airy, and positively full of natural light, they offer unparalleled views of the square below.
