“Dining Out for Life” in Center City – All the Details You Need!

Face it – you are very likely to be eating out on a Thursday night. The weekend’s looming, your energy is flagging, and a front porch rendezvous with the pizza delivery dude is looking like a better and better idea. On April 24th, hold the phone – Philly is celebrating the 24th year of Dining Out for Life! Many of your favorite restaurants will be participating, and donating 33% of your tab to a handful of local organizations dedicated to fighting AIDS.

There’s nothing like having a good excuse to go out for some great food.

It’s easy enough to do. On the 24th, simply grab a pal, family member, love interest, coworker, frenemy, whatever, and go out to dinner at one of the participating eateries – reservations are, in general, strongly recommended. Stuff your face with some delicious food. Pay your bill as normal, happy in the fact that you have just indirectly donated a chunk of your bill to AIDS research.

As an extra incentive, diners who donate at least 25 bucks (for the math-challenged, that’s a check total of at least $75) will get 20% off their check at that restaurant each Tuesday for the rest of the year.

We’re spoiled for choice here in Center City, as we have more local restaurants than anywhere else in the metro area. Have a sample:

For once, there’s no need to feel guilty about giving into your desire not to cook!
