Jimmy Fallon Chooses Dalessandro’s Over Pat’s and Genos

Last week Jimmy Fallon was in town and found himself craving one of Philly’s finest so he turned not to classic favorites like Pat’s and Geno’s but to Dalessandro’s in Roxborough.  Fallon took to Twitter to explain what was clearly a difficult decision for him, “Soooo many choices – but I went with Dalessandro’s. Made with love. Thanks Philly!”  Somewhat off the beaten path, but still with a cult like following, Dalessandro’s offers a huge selection of cheesteaks, and hoagies but sadly, no fries.  Fallon also thanked Philly for giving the world The Roots.  If only he had let us know he was coming we could have scheduled him a quick tour of Chase Utley’s condo.
