80 Apartments Going Up On 1100 Block of Chestnut

The vacant, ugly buildings at 1118-28 Chestnut Street near Midtown Village will soon be a distant memory.   Zoning was recently approved for an 80 unit, 7 story building to be built in their place.  A company affiliated with Brickstone Realty Company is expected to begin demolition of the vacant properties shortly.  The new building will contain 60 one-bedroom units, 20 two-bedroom units with commercial space on the first and second floor and 24 parking spaces.  Midtown Village just keeps expanding and improving.
