Venice Island Renovations In Manayunk To Begin
Philadelphia Real Estate Blog – Manayunk NeighborhoodThe $46-million overhaul of the Venice Island Recreation Center in Manayunk site gets underway next week. The renovations will be a three-phase project that over the next two years will result in the removal of the current recreation center, playground, and swimming pool in order to install 1) “The Big Tank” — a four million-gallon, underground storm water basin for the Philadelphia Water Department 2) the creation of a performing arts center, and 3) restoration of the athletic courts and play areas.
