Local Vineyards Hosting 5k Run Followed By Wine Tasting

My wife Maria brought this to my attention yesterday and it could be the best Philly area event for fall 2013. On different dates in September, October and November five Philadelphia area vineyards will host Good Day For A Run, LLC’s fall 2013 Run The Vineyard 5k series. Participants will run a 5k at one of the local wineries below and afterwards enjoy a wine tasting at the finish line. Race fees range from $35 – $40 and runners can register at http://gooddayforarun.com/. Seems like a can’t miss great time and don’t be surprised if you see me at one (or all) of them!
Run The Vineyards Locations, Dates, and Times

Atco: September 14th at 9 a.m., Amalthea Cellars, 209 Vineyard Drive, Atco.

Cape May: September 22nd at 9 a.m., Cape May Winery, 711 Town Bank Road, Cape May.

Chadds Ford: September 29th at 9 a.m., Penns Woods Winery, 124 Beaver Valley Road, Chadds Ford.

Mullica Hill: October 29th at 9 a.m., Heritage Vineyards, 124 Richwood Road, Richwood.

Shamong: November 10th at 9 a.m., Valenzano Winery, 1090 US 206, Shamong.
