Don’t Miss: Night Market on South Street, Thursday August 15th
Night Market Philadelphia spotlights Philly’s best ethnic restaurants and food trucks. The premier street food festival is inspired by Asia’s lively outdoor markets and showcase Philadelphia’s diverse culture scene. From 6 to 10 p.m, South Street will be packed with nearly 80 of the city’s restaurants and food trucks. This could be the biggest Night Market event yet to take place as South Street will be blocked off from Front to 9th Street and along 2nd Street, between South and Lombard.
The first Night Market took place in East Passyunk in 2010. The Food Trust has hosted ten Night Markets, attracting over 100,000 attendees and more than 300 food vendors to neighborhoods across the city, including University City, Northern Liberties, West Oak Lane, Washington Avenue, Mt. Airy, Fairmount, and Chinatown, and attracting local and national attention to Philadelphia’s food scene.
