In my never ending quest to keep the Philadelphia Real Estate community informed of anything interesting related to Philadelphia I found out that Amtrak is offering a 3 day regional rail ticket sale that includes $25 one way tickets to Manhattan.  You must book between today and September 27th for travel November 28 – December 13, 2012:

4. Once ticketed fares are non-refundable; exchanges are permitted prior to the original travel date.
5. Seating is limited; seats may not be available on all trains at all times.
6. Discounted one-way fares are valid for all adult passengers; no additional discounts apply.
7. Valid for coach seats only; no Business Class upgrades permitted.
8. Not combinable with any other discount offer.
