Manayunk will host the first ever day long StrEAT Food Festival, Saturday, September 29th and the festival will lead into Manayunk’s first restaurant week which will run from September 30th to October 5th.

“The Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival is the first time in the history of the district of Manayunk that food trucks will line Main Street! The festival will serve as the kick-off for Manyaunk’s Restaurant Week beginning Sunday, September 30 and running until Friday, October 5. More than twenty food trucks will park along Main St. from Green Lane to Shurs Lane where visitors are encouraged to stroll the street, taste the offerings from their favorite trucks, and sit and enjoy the food at picnic-style seating areas along the sidewalk! Gourmet Food Courts and farmers markets will also be set up in two of the street-side parking lots. In these areas visitors can shop from gourmet food vendors selling homemade oils, spices, butters, breads, etc. along with farm stands selling locally grown produce. Live music will be playing at different locations along the street throughout the day as well. While strolling the street visitors can also follow a restaurant tour highlighting apple/fall time specialties by our Manayunk restaurants and eateries. With its classic storefronts, beautiful trails, and towpath along the canal, Manayunk offers a prime location to take a break from the city and enjoy a Saturday outside tasting the best of what Philadelphia food trucks have to offer! Shop and experience apple themed window displays, sidewalk sales, and in-store promotions at our Manayunk retailers!”
Manayunk Restaurant Week
“Manayunk Restaurant Week will take place starting Sunday, September 30 to Friday, October 5th. A variety of restaurants in Manayunk will participate in Restaurant Week by creating price-fixed menus at $10, $20, and $30 price points assigned according to each menu. Come out with family and friends to take advantage of all the special offers at Manayunk’s amazing restaurants. This is a great opportunity to try a new spot and experience all the different tastes and cuisines that Manayunk has to offer! Also, don’t forget to stop by the variety of different shops along Main Street. Many will be offering extended hours throughout the whole week!
