Earlier this month Rittenhouse Square welcomed Palm Tree Gourmet, a new gourmet market similar to Arch Street Gourmet in Logan Square. The Palm Tree Gourmet located at the intersection of 20th and Pine marks the third Palm Tree Gourmet – the other two locations being Queen Village at 901 South 2nd Street and Northern Liberties at 717 North 2nd Street. The Rittenhouse Palm Tree Gourmet will fill a prominent Rittenhouse Square corner that has curiously remained vacant since the previous tenant, a children’s bookstore, vacated a few years back. All things considered the newest Palm Tree Gourmet will undoubtedly be a welcomed addition to Rittenhouse Square!
