GQ Names MICA Among 10 Best New Restaurants in USA
The March issue of GQ Magazine named the Chestnut Hill restaurant Mica as one of the 10 Best New Restaurants in the entire country. Chip Roman, of Blackfish in Conshohocken fame, is the head chef.
Mica is a restaurant that serves progressive American cuisine. All dishes are made using fresh ingredients. The menu features first, second and third-course options. Choice menu selections include the house-cured lomo, baby Spanish octopus, carnaroli risotto, loch duart Scottish salmon and Margret duck breast. Interestingly, in the GQ article Chip Roman recommends “The Farm and Fisherman in Philly. The chef was the chef de cuisine at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York, and he just nails it.” So there you have it. Two great new restaurant choices for the price of one.
