Prudential Fox & Roach just distributed the January 2012 Eshowings report. As a reminder, Eshowings is the online appointment program we use to schedule and coordinate all home buyer showings for Philadelphia and the surrounding neighborhoods. This report gives an indication as to the demand for showings (and hopefully purchases). Click on the image below to increase size.
The total number of January showings was 2524 which was up substantially from the 3rd quarter of 2011 and was the highest number of showings since June. The January eshowings represent the 4th highest number of showings in the past 12 months. Interestingly, 91% of all showings were of homes with an asking price under $700,000 and 76% of all showings were of homes with an asking price under $500,000. 2500+ showings per month is often seen in summer months and this eshowings report could be an indication that the Philadelphia Real Estate market is in for a strong first half of 2012.
