Philadelphia Is Sports Crazed
The world experts over at Travel + Leisure just acknowledged what anyone who has ever visited Philadelphia already knows – Philadelphia is the most sports crazed city in the entire US! At least now it’s official. Philly beat out Boston (2nd) and Chicago (3rd) on the way to earning this prestigious honor. Here’s what the magazine had to say:
“America’s Most Sports-Crazed Cities: No. 1 Philadelphia. Heartaches over the years may have only deepened the fans’ commitment. To mingle (or commiserate) with locals—who, alas, don’t rank well in the survey for being athletic themselves—check out a Chickie’s and Pete’s sports bar, and try the famous “crab fries.” Or, make like Rocky, and run up and down the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.”
Now if the Phillies would just sign a clutch hitter and the Eagles would hire an actual defensive coordinator maybe we would have something to cheer about!
