Stephen Starr’s Route 6 Opens Tomorrow.

Fresh off his openings of Talula’s Garden in Washington Square, Frankford Hall in Fishtown, and Il Pittore in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia rock star restauranteur Steven Starr will open Route 6 on North Broad Street tomorrow.  As previously discussed, Route 6 is located at 600 North Broad Street in a building that will also house a new Marc Vetri restaurant and Vie catering company – a Joe Volpe project.  Route 6 gets it’s name from the famous highway in Massachusetts that runs through Cape Cod.  The head chef is Anthony DiRienzo, previously Executive Sous Chef at Morimoto and Executive Chef of Buddakan in Atlantic City, and the food is inspired by traditional coastal towns of the Northeast.
