Philadelphia Best City In Country For Culture

The November issue of Travel + Leisure featured a poll entitled “America’s Favorite Cities”, which was discussed previously.  Philly was highly rated pretty much across the board but ranked first, according to those polled, for overall culture.  The culture category includes things like historic landmarks, monuments, museums, galleries, theaters, and muscians/orchestra.  I’d be willing to bet that most Philadelphians don’t take advantage of the world class cultural events available in Philly on a regular basis.  Maybe it’s time to start paying more attention.
