Philadelphia Waterfront Real Estate Finally Getting a Facelift

Philadelphia Waterfront Real Estate Finally Getting a Facelift.

According to PlanPhilly.com, a complete draft of the Central Delaware Waterfront Master Plan has been published and can be found here.  The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation is the quasi-city agency that manages the city’s property along the river and the long-term planning for the entire Central Delaware, from Oregon to Allegheny avenues.  The DRWC executive summary draft was released in June and is accepting comments and ideas on their website www.plancentraldelaware.com.  After the comment submission period has ended the DRWC board will review the submissions, revise the proposal – possibly incorporation some of the ideas – and then will present the final document to the Philadelphia City Planning Commission at the October meeting.  A picture of the finished product as it is currently proposed is below.  Any idea that allows Philadelphia to improve and make better use of its waterfront real estate is obviously exciting news!
