University of Pennsylvania Real Estate Development Progressing Nicely

University of Pennsylvania Real Estate Development Progressing Nicely.

In Philadelphia development news, Penn Park, the new urban park east of the Highline and stretching from Walnut Street to South Street features featuring a fabric of tightly interwoven recreation and athletic components is coming along nicely.  This is great news for a number of reasons.

First, Penn and Drexel’s long term plans to immerse themselves in Center City will provide economic and commercial opportunities that have never been present before.

Second, the price tag on this project is $42,000,000 and the last thing Philadelphia needs is a high profile real estate flop.

Here’s some pics of what things look like now and how they will look upon completions.
