According to a Philly.com article 600 N. Broad will host new Stephen Starr, Marc Vetri and Joe Volpe Restaurants:
With about five months until the projected opening, here’s an update on the mega-dining project coming to 600 N. Broad St., former home of Wilkie Buick, as part of Eric Blumenfeld’s $43 million commercial-residential redevelopment.
The venture will include Stephen Starr, Marc Vetri, and Joe Volpe. Volpe, the caterer (Cescaphe, Tendenza, Curtis Center) and restaurateur (Cooperage), is going with Vie as the name of his massive catering operation, which will feature live cooking stations and feeding space for 600 people (1,200 for cocktails). Volpe will get the southern end of the building, along Green Street.
Vetri will expand his restaurant empire (Vetri, Amis and the steps-away Osteria) with an Italian pub called Alla Spina (“beer taps” in Italian). He will have a space on the north side (along Mount Vernon Street).
Starr is not set on the name of his casual seafood restaurant, which will have frontage on Broad and Mount Vernon Streets. The working name was Route 6, but he’s toying with others, including Little Neck.
