2.) Philadelphia has a new sister city. Representatives from Frankfurt, Germany recently arrived in town to cement the kinship between their city and Philadelphia. A delegation led by Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann came to town to not only celebrate the partnership, but to explore “business and educational opportunities” that might arise due to the new relationship. The sister city relationship was initially contracted in July of this year when Mayor Michael Nutter and a group of other Philly representatives went to Frankfurt. Frankfurt is Philadelphia’s first new sister city in over twenty years.

3.) It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Center City. Decorations are going up and all throughout town there is an air of festivity and cheer to be found.
