Rosie O’Donnell Sells Greenwich Village Penthouse
It’ll be a merrier Christmas for Rosie O’Donnell after unloading the New York City penthouse she’s been trying to sell all year. The actress / “The View” host / comedian finally closed the deal on her Greenwich Village pad, which she let go of for $9 million. The four bedroom, three bath home is a stunner, sporting views of One World Trade Center and the Empire State Building.

The home is as sustainable as it is lovely, boasting LEED Gold certification. There’s an air filtration system that brings the fresh outdoor air inside, low VOC paint, and a HVAC system that saves as much as 40% on energy costs. It touts over 3,200 square feet of wide open living space with plenty of natural light. The entertainment area alone is 37 feet across, with a whole wall of windows and three French doors out onto the gorgeous 435 square foot private terrace. Hardwood floors run throughout.
