My grandfather would be so happy to hear that there’s finally an intimate little Italian restaurant open near 12th and Locust in Midtown Village (Wash West). Marcie Turney and Val Safran, whose resume includes favorites like Lolita and Barbuzoo, recently opened the doors to Little Nonna’s, an old school Italian throwback restaurant featuring grandma style classic Italian dishes, décor and attire for staff. Little Nonna’s can seat 37 inside and 40 outside (weather permitting).
“Little Nonna’s is an Italian-American restaurant by Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran located in Midtown Village. Our restaurant seats about 40 guests inside and we have an additional 40 seats in our outdoor garden. Seating in the garden and at the chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen is on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are accepted for indoor tables for both lunch and dinner. We have a full liquor license and accept all major credit cards.” (Little Nonna’s website)
Little Nonna’s is definitely a must visit restaurant for Fall 2013!
