Friends of Seger Park Playground recently announced that Phase A of their renovation of Seger Park will begin shortly.

About: We’re dedicated to the renovation and beautification of the playground at Seger Park, located on Lombard Street in beautiful Washington Square West, Philadelphia PA!
Mission: Keeping in mind how important children’s play is to their development – and how crucial it is for communities to maintain safe, inviting spaces to gather – the goal of the Friends of Seger Park Playground is to raise money for new, updated, age and ability-appropriate playground equipment, increased green space, new safe surfacing materials, an updated water spray area, better lighting, and improved landscaping.
Company Overview: Friends of Seger Park Playground is a tax exempt 501c3 nonprofit corporation, founded in 2007 by neighborhood parents. We’re dedicated to the renovation and beautification of the playground at Seger Park, located on Lombard Street between 10th and 11th Streets.
